Mekaster range of high performance maintenance tools also include Hydraulic Jacks to complement existing range of heavy-duty sockets / wrenches, torquing tools (manual / hydraulic /electric & pneumatic) & other special maintenance tools. There are more than 50 standard single acting models with spring assisted ram retraction from 5 to 200 tones capacity in various types such as plain ram, screwed ram, hollow ram, short height & flat. In addition to these jacks up to 1500 T capacity can be supplied in single / double acting models for various special applications such as Pile Testing, Post Tensioning, Bridge Lifting &/ or Shifting etc.

These hydraulic jacks conform to ASME B30.1 standards and & are designed with a safety factor of 2:1 on material yield. The Jack components are manufactured of graded alloy steel, hardened and tempered for toughness. Cylinder bores are hard chrome plated & then honed and ram ground after hard chrome plating to enhance wear resistance. Pressure activated, anti-extrusion Polyurethane seals of imported make (Parker / Economos / Hallite etc.) are used to provide high reliability. Phosphorus bronze guide rings provided on piston and gland nut – reduces scoring caused by off-centre loads. All exposed surfaces are treated for corrosion resistance.

Rams are provided with hardened grooved saddle to prevent ram from mushrooming. Plain or tilt saddles can also be supplied. Port connections are 3/8” NPT (F). The Jacks are tested for all dimensions, static pressure, functional (no load & on load cyclic) and overload.

Matching hydraulic hand pumps with coupler and hoses of European Origin are also available for single & multijack applications. These pumps (single /double speed) are designed for heavy-duty applications with hardened & ground piston, integral reservoir with telescopic handle, automatic safety relief valve, modular construction of valves for ease in maintenance etc. Electric / Diesel or Petrol driven pumps can also be supplied against orders.
